Co-created ‘7 PM’, a short film made entirely in quarantine dedicated to essential workers and health heroes. The film has already been selected to be part of the Escapist Cinema of South Asia online festival and has garnered. over 30,000 views across platforms and been shared 300 times. Short film script “Just Potential” was selected as a finalist in the ScreenCraft Comedy Contest - placing in the top 2% out of 2400 entries. And as a Quarterfinalist in the Slamdance Screenplay Competition, and a Semifinalist in the Filmmatic Comedy Screenplay Awards 2020.
Original pilot script “Marriage Brokers”, co-written with my writing partner Vick Krishna, was recently recognized as a quarterfinalist in the WeScreenplay TV Pilot competition and as a semifinalist in the WeScreenplay Diverse Voices competition!
Short film script “Just Potential” was also recognized as a seminifinalist in Diverse Voices, and was selected to advance to the second round of the ScreenCraft Film Fund.
